The Government has confirmed the planned closure of the Child Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS) on 31 December 2016.

Eligible children will need to receive dental treatment before 1 January 2017 if they wish to access benefits under the CDBS before its intended closure.
Children who have been eligible for and treated under the CDBS at our practice will be receiving a letter in the post.
We are encouraging you to contact us to ensure they are up to date with their check ups and treatment has been completed prior to the closure date. Don’t miss out on your entitlements.
We will continue to keep your child/children on our 6 monthly recall system but there will be payment needed following the closure of this scheme.
